Pin spent his early career in tax at PwC, then in EY's Tax Technology & Transformation practice, where he learned to implement the technology finance teams quietly run on. He went on to sit in a CFO seat, where he saw from the inside what bad books and useless reporting cost an operator.
He built PC Financials to be AI-native because that's the version of the work that scales: one firm, the whole back office, the throughput handled by technology. He writes a long-form note most months on automation, the close, and how an AI-native firm runs.
